老化所導致的身體功能衰退是全球關注的健康議題,為避免連帶影響日常活動功能,以椅子為 主的瑜珈運動是新興且安全有效之運動介入策略之一。目前國內外針對高齡族群以椅子瑜珈運動探 討其成效的學術研究仍屬少數,爰此,本文以文獻回顧方式剖析椅子瑜珈運動對延緩高齡者身體功 能衰退之成效。綜合6 篇實證研究得知,椅子瑜珈運動確實具延緩高齡者行走能力、心肺適能、平 衡能力、下肢肌力、柔軟度、敏捷與動態平衡等功能衰退之效果。冀望後續研究能進一步發展我國 高齡者的椅子瑜珈運動課程,作為延緩身體功能性衰退及促進日常活動功能之運動健康促進方案。

英文摘要

Aging lead to decline of physical function had become the health issues in the world. In order to avoid the physical function decline, the chair-based yoga exercise was safety and efficacy of exercise strategy. However, in evidence-based research into chair-based yoga exercise strategies is limited. We therefore carried out literature review to explore the therapeutic effect of chair-based yoga exercise to delay of physical function decline in elderly. The six evidence-based study were analyzed, the results proved that after chair-based yoga exercise showed significant delay the walk ability, cardiorespiratory fitness, balance ability, lower-limb muscular strength, flexibility, and agility and dynamic balance. Finally, we suggest future research to construction chair-based yoga exercise courses for elderly in Taiwan, which could serve as reference for prevent of physical function decline and promote daily of activities ability in elderly.
