本研究是以糠醛為原料生產2-乙醯基 呋喃(2-acetylfuran)之程序設計、分析、 及評估。糠醛已是工業化的生質能產物,2-乙醯基呋喃則是醫藥及食品添加劑特用化學 品。本研究所設計的程序是先將糠醛在第一 座反應系統中反應成呋喃,然後將呋喃在第 二座反應系統中反應成2-乙醯基呋喃。在 完成各反應程序及分離程序之單元設計、熱 整合節能設計、以及經濟評估後,本研究發 現糠醛原料價格會明顯影響成本,而程序中 觸媒使用壽命及穩定性更是未來是否能建廠 的重要關鍵。其中,第一座反應器之糠醛經 脫滕化(decarbonylation)生成呋喃所使用 的Pd觸媒,穩定性必須超過六個月,第二 座反應器之呋喃醯化反應(acylation)製備 2-乙醯基呋喃的酸觸媒必須高於五天,整體 製程才可能具備經濟效益。

英文摘要

Process designs, economic evaluations and analyses for production of 2-acetylfuran from furfural were studied. Furfural has been a product from biomass in industry. 2-Acetyl-furan is a useful intermediate in the synthesis of fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food additives. In this work, furfural is converted to furan in the first reactor, and 2-Acetylfuran is produced from furan from the second reactor. Separation units after each reactor, heat exchanger units with a full heat integrations, and the other units are designed. The capital cost and operation cost for the production have been evaluated. After economic analysis, it is found that market price of furfural affects the profit significantly. Moreover, the stability and life time of the catalysts during production operations are very important. The production may be profitable, if the life time of Pd catalyst in the first reactor can be longer than 6 months and that of the acid catalyst in the second reactor can be longer than 5 days.
