乳癌是女性常見的惡性腫瘤之一，為降低乳腺癌的復發率及死亡率，臺大醫院將磁振掃描與正子掃描結合， 利用2014 年引進的磁振正子掃描造影儀為乳癌患者進行檢查，不但減少至原有PET-CT 劑量的三分之一或更低。 在醫學影像的檢查中，也大幅提高了安全性及精確度。

Breast cancer is one of the common malignant tumors in women. To reduce the recurrence rate and mortality of breast cancer, National Taiwan University Hospital USE magnetic resonance and positron emission tomography (MR-PET) to examine breast cancer patients, using the magnetic resonance and positron synchronization scanner introduced in 2014. Not only is it reduced to three-thirds or less of the original PET-CT dose. In the inspection of medical images, safety and accuracy have also been greatly improved.
