花蓮港位居臺灣東部，瀕臨太平洋，每年夏、秋兩季常有颱風襲擊，加土地震頻繁，碼頭主體設施受波浪衝擊、地震力作用及海水鹽分侵蟹，甚易損壞或腐蝕。為確保碼頭設施正常運作，提升維護管理效能與掌握設施現況，本文特對該港碼頭，進行岸上目視調查、非破壞性檢測與現況評估。目視調查發現數座R.c.碼頭有混凝土剝落、內部鋼筋腐蝕外露，鋼板樁碼頭其鋼板樁表面誘蝕破裂。依非破壞性檢測數據評估，碼頭混凝土品質仍符合設計要求，內部鋼筋腐蝕斷裂機率偏高，鋼板樁無法倖兔腐蝕侵襲，應加強後續監測及檢測頻率。
