本研究從建設性之角度出發，以台東糖廠為個案，透過文獻分析法、田野調查法及深度訪談法，瞭解其閒置空間再利用之現況，並經由SWOT分析矩陣，探究再利用過程中其內部之優勢、劣勢及外部面臨之機會與威脅，並提出台東糖廠閒置空間再利用之發展策略。調查發現，目前廠區內建築物共55棟，其中行政空間共6棟，文創教育空間共22棟，休閒空間共3棟，餐飲商業空間共10棟，其餘18棟目前則是閒置、工具存放間或是汽機車停放空間，因有4棟跨類別，故機能分類總棟數便成為59棟。

In this study, from a constructive point of view, in Taitung Sugar Park as a case through the literature analysis, field survey and depth interviews, inform on the current reuse of its unused space. Through SWOT analysis matrix, explore its strengths and weakness of internal in the process of reuse, and external opportunities and threats, then proposed development strategy for reuse of unused space at Taitung Sugar Park. The study found that the current total of 55 building plant in the region, where a total of six administrative space, cultural and creative educational space altogether 22, a total of three leisure space, space for a total of 10 food and beverage business, and the remaining 18 is currently idle, tool storage steam locomotive parking space sometimes is, because there are four cross-category, so the total number of functional classification of buildings will become 59.
