Worldwide 2017 industrial laser market reaches $13.07 billion, a 21.6% jump from 2016. However the growth of laser sales returns to moderate level for 2018. For 2018 industrial laser market, it reaches to $13.75 billion, 5.3% growths higher than 2017. These include diode laser of 39% and non-diode laser of 61%, growth in consumer electronics applications like sensing and LiDAR propelled demand for lasers in semiconductor and materials processing applications.
