本文以《皇明經世文編》五百零八卷（含補遺四卷）所收明人文論作品為範 圍，再藉由現代數位人文的研究方法，以「海」、「洋」、「貢」、「安南」、「交址」、 「朝鮮（高麗）」、「琉球」、「日本」等詞彙為關鍵字詞，於「中國哲學書電子化計 畫」所收錄的《皇明經世文編》中檢索相關文獻，共檢得八十餘筆符合條件的明 代海洋朝貢議論文獻。經歸納分析後，得出明代士人對於海洋朝貢，可概分為綜 論朝貢概況與分論各國議題兩大種類；前者有通敘入貢事宜及頌揚朝貢盛況兩面 向，後者則分論安南、渤泥、滿刺加國、琉球、朝鮮、日本等六國的朝貢相關議 題。其中以安南、朝鮮、日本三國最常被明代士人所論及，其次為琉球，渤泥國 與滿刺加國則各一見。論安南的入貢對治策略，以初期所見為多；論朝鮮與日本 的朝貢事宜，則多見於中、晚期。其中對於日本的主要議論層面，呈現出從朝貢 事務逐渐轉至倭患治理、海防備邊的現象。至於在議論中引經據典以為己證的情 形並不常見，其中以《春秋》（含《左傳》、《公羊傳》、胡安國《春秋傳》）之義的應用最多，且集中於夷夏之防，而各僅一見的引《詩經》、《論語》之說亦是如此。 此現象一方面顯示明代士人以華夏文明大國自居而視四周藩國為夷狄之邦的傳統 思維，另一方面則突顯了《春秋》夷夏觀在明代治夷防狄、海防禦倭需求上的適 用性。

This paper explored the discussions of paying tribute by sea in the Huang-Ming Jingshi WfenWan 皇民經世文編.The paper examined 508 volumes of literary works written by Ming people in the Huang-Ming J-^^gshi Wenbian. The digital humanities approach was applied to identify the characters of paying tribute by sea in the Ming Dynasty. Keywords such as “sea”，“ocean”，“tribute，，，“Annam” 安南，“Jiaozhi，，交址， “Joseon” 朝鮮（“Gaoli，，高麗)，，，“Liugiu，，琉球，and “Japan，，were used to collect the data from the Huang-Ming Jingshi Wenbian in the electronic database of Chinese Text Project. Several important findings were discovered. The results showed that the discussions of paying tribute by sea in the Ming Dynasty were about the grandeur of overseas countries paying tribute to the Ming dynasty， how the overseas countries paying tribute, and the responding strategy of tribute paying to Anman, Boni 渤泥， Malacca 滿喇加，Liugiu, Joseon, and Japan. The result also showed that Anman, Joseon and Japan were most often discussed but there was only one literary work about Liugiu, Boni and Malacca. When Ming people discussed paying tribute by sea, sometimes they would support their viewpoints by quoting classic works, such as Spring and Autumn Annais 春秋，Classic of Poetry 詩經，and The Analects of Confucius 論語.The Spring and Autumn Annais were quoted most often that showed the importance of defending sea bandits in the Ming Dynasty.
