本研究旨在探討異性戀大學生對順性別和跨性別者的社會人際關係態度,並比較男、女學生之間的差異。研究對象為828位大學生,男生376位、女生452位。研究工具有三,分別是大學生對順性別者、對跨性男及對跨性女之社會人際關係態度量表,每一量表各有三個層面,分別是友情接受度、愛情認同態度與關懷同情度。結果發現:一、友情接受度方面,大學生對順性別者態度高於跨性別者,對跨性男和跨性女之間則沒有差異;二、愛情認同度方面,男生對順性別者態度高於跨性別,對跨性男和跨性女之間沒有差異,而女生對順性別的認同度最高,其次是跨性男,最低為跨性女;三、關懷同情度方面,男生對順性別者態度高於跨性別,對跨性男和跨性女之間則沒有差異,而女生對順性別者的同情度低於跨性別者,對跨性男和跨性女的同情度沒有差異。從學生性別角度來看,男生在三個層面的分數均低於女生,尤其以對跨性女的友情接受度分數最低。根據本研究結果,在發展性別平等教材及研究性少數者校園適應問題時,建議將學生性別和不同性別認同者之社會人際關係態度納入考量。

英文摘要

The purpose of this study was to investigate social interpersonal relationship attitudes toward cisgender and transgender peers among heterosexual university students and to compare the attitudinal differences based on student gender and the gender identity of the target. A sample of 828 (376 male and 452 female) heterosexual university students from 12 universities was selected to join the study. The Social Interpersonal Relationships Attitudes toward Peers Scales were used to measure participants’ attitudes toward cisgender, transman, and transwoman peers. The scales consisted of three dimensions: Friendship, Love, and Sympathy. The results indicated that heterosexual university students’ attitudes toward peers were dependent on both student gender and the gender identity of the target. Both male and female students reported the highest accepted score for cisgender peers and the lowest accepted score for transwoman peers across the Friendship, Love, and Sympathy dimensions. Male students reported more negative attitudes toward transwoman peers in Friendship, Love, and Sympathy than did female students. The implications of these fi ndings for the future studies and the programming, institutional support systems, institutional policies as they affect cisgender and transgender students were discussed.
