田徑運動是一項古老的運動,跑、跳、投擲等技能為田徑競賽必備的能力。在學校教育中,體育教師需協助學校提升學生的運動參與度、運動技巧以及學生健康。田徑運動在體育運動中佔有重要的地位,也是發展全民體育時的首要部分。少兒田徑是國際田徑總會 (International Association ofAthletics Federations, IAAF) 推展的體育活動。根據少兒生理與心理發展,IAAF 為7 至12 歲的少兒訂定了全世界體育政策,其主要目的是使用以安全、有趣及簡易可行的方式,提高全球少兒身體健康狀況並培養學生對田徑運動的興趣。本文介紹少兒田徑的理念教育價值,與其特性和創編原則,為少兒田徑教學提供建議。

英文摘要

Track and field is one of the oldest sports, which includes athletic contests established on theskills of running, jumping and throwing. In the school education, physical education teachershave to help schools to increase students' participation in sport, sport skill development, andstudents’ healthy. Track and field plays an important role in sports, and it is also the primary partin the development of sports for all. Kids' Athletics program is a sports activity promoted by theInternational Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). According to the characteristics ofKids’ physical and psychological development, IAAF created a global athletics policy for Youthfrom 7 to 12 years old. The mainly purposes of the IAAF kids’ athletics are enhance the health ofchildren in the world, and cultivate students' interest in track and field sports with safety, fun andsimplicity way. Kids’ athletics program has been developed in Europe and the United States formany years. This study introduce the concept of Kids’ athletics program and its characteristicsand creation principles, to provide advice for Kids’ athletics teaching.
