世界衛生組織(WHO)在2018年第11版「國際疾病分類」(ICD-11)中，將「遊戲成癮」(Gaming disorder)與酒精、菸草、咖啡因、毒品、藥物濫用等並列為精神疾病，除此之外現代人隨身攜帶的智慧型手機衍生出的「手機成癮」(Smartphone Addiction, SA)與每天都會上網瀏覽形成的「網路成癮」(Internet Addiction, IA)等相關議題，也逐漸引起大家的重視，因此本研究藉由「軍人」的封閉職業特性(大部份時間都在營區內活動，無法使用電腦等其他設備上網，僅能使用智慧型手機與外界聯繫及上網)，透過使用者心理的「網路依附」(dependency of Internet, DI)探討對於「手機成癮」及「網路成癮」的關係。本研究針對軍人進行調查，共計回收509份有效問卷，運用迴歸分析等方法，發現「網路依附」對於「手機成癮」及「網路成癮」均呈現正向的影響，「手機成癮」對於「網路成癮」亦呈現正向影響，此外透過手機進行上網，會使得「手機成癮」正向影響「網路成癮」的傾向，發現「手機成癮」扮演了中介的角色，也就是手機上網越久，會提高「手機成癮」及「網路成癮」的傾向。

The World Health Organization (WHO) lists gaming disorders and alcohol, tobacco, drug, and substance abuse as mental disorders in the 11th edition of the International Classification of Diseases released in 2018. In addition, Smartphone Addictions (SA) caused by constant use of smartphones by modern humans and Internet Addictions (IA) caused by daily Internet usage are drawing rising attention. This study therefore explores the correlation between the mental dependency on the Internet (DI) and Smartphone and Internet Addictions while taking into consideration the peculiar professional attributes of military personnel (activities confined to military bases, unavailability of computers and other devices connected to the Internet, sole reliance on smartphones to maintain contact with the outside world and surf the Internet). The author of this study conducted a questionnaire survey of military personnel. A total of 509 valid questionnaires were returned. A regression analysis of the obtained data produced the following findings: Dependency on the Internet is positively correlated with both Smartphone and Internet Addictions; Smartphone Addictions are positively correlated with Internet Addictions. In addition, mobile Internet usage tends to lead to positive correlations between Smartphone Addiction and Internet Addiction with Smartphone Addiction acting as an intervening variable. In other words, longer mobile Internet usage tends to lead to worsening Smartphone and Internet Addictions.
