LGBT have faced social prejudice and oppression for a long time, and they are also suffering and anxious about their sexual orientation. The military culture that advocates the Masculinity has made the LGBT suffer more psychological troubles. Therefore, the study seeks to explore the ways in which the professional helpers assist the LGBT in the military environment from the practical experience, and to be as a basis of reflection by the gender perspective. Even though there is a comprehensive three-level guard system and referral mechanism in the military, it is often useless to provide LGBT with resources and assistance in a timely and effective manner. In contrast to the helping professional areas of the military and society, we found that LGBT would encounter difficulties such as lack of a friendly environment and lack of multigender/ cultural consultation and training for counselors. According to this, the study proposed three suggestions: 1) military academies should offer multi-gender-related courses in the military academies; 2) troops should strengthen gender equality education in troops; 3) the military should gain resources from external institutions, and 4) counselors should treat the LGBT comrades friendly. It is expected that the military help workers can enrich their professional knowledge in comrade consultation and always reflect on their own blind spots to provide effective professional services to help the LGBT community to improve their mental health and well-being.
