力圖實現天主教信仰與中國傳統文化融合的臺灣新士林哲學，歷經六○餘年發展形成明確的問題意識和研究範式。從研究主題上看，在士林哲學傳統基礎上，結合中國文化論述，形成了從側重理論哲學拓展到側重實踐哲學的實踐轉向，本文從人生哲學體系建立與通識教育普及、倫理學體系建立與專業倫理教育興起、哲學諮商建立與實踐應用三個方面，勾勒臺灣新士林哲學60年發展歷程中實踐哲學主題的演進邏輯及其當代發展趨勢和動向，嘗試回答當代臺灣新士林哲學的形而上學傾向和實踐哲學轉向二者是何種關係；從人生哲學日益豐富和深化到哲學諮商拓展給新士林哲學發展帶來何種挑戰和契機。

The New Scholastic Philosophy of Taiwan that endeavors to realize the combination of Catholicism and Chinese traditional culture has experienced a history of 60 years and has concluded explicit consciousness of problems and research paradigm. Viewed from the perspective of research topics, It based on the Scholastic philosophy tradition has a practical diversion from theoretical research to practical philosophy. This thesis focuses on the processing logic and the contemporary trend of practical philosophy in its history to get an answer of the relationship between metaphysical trend and this diversion on three dimensions: the formation of philosophy of life and the popularity of the liberal education, the formation of ethics and the rise of specialized ethics education, philosophy counseling and practical application. Furthermore to explore the development and challenge that is generated by the diversion from the increasingly deepening of the philosophy of life to the philosophy of counseling.
