夏目漱石（1868）是享譽國際的日本國民作家，《少爺》一書乃以其1895年在四國愛媛縣松山東高校執教的經歷為靈感，以半自傳方式書寫的一部作品；1906年開始連載、出版。夏目漱石同時也是位天才早逝的作家，其創作時間很晚也很短，38歲才開始進行小說創作，短短的十年間，約有十四部中長篇小說面世。1916年因胃潰瘍去世，過世時才49歲。《少爺》則屬於他最早期的作品，內容記載的是他28歲所遭遇的真實故事。現今台日文學及文化的連結已是有目共睹，對於不熟悉日文的中文研究者，也應該予以夏目漱石及《少爺》一書更多關注。基於此，本文以夏目漱石個人及其《少爺》一書為探討重點，共分為五節：壹、前言。貳、夏目漱石的生平與《少爺》的寫作背景。參、《少爺》的藝術特色。肆、《少爺》對日本與台灣的影響。伍、結語。主要重點置於第三節，此節分為：一、篇章架構及內容概要。二、人物性格的描寫與整體創作風格；此小節探討主、配角的性格，及整體的創作風格，是為本論文最重要的部分。本文希望藉由《少爺》一書的藝術特色，及夏目漱石的個人魅力，對於日本明治時期的大眾文學，有更深化的詮解。

Natsume Soseki（1868-1916）is internationally renowned writer. ’Young Master’ was his factual experience teach in Songshan High School, Ehime Prefecture, Shikoku in 1985. Writing in a semi-autobiographical way.Publishing in 1906. It’s his early text. The content is a true story of what he was 28 years old. His writing time is very slow and short. During 38 to 49 years old ,he had write fourteen Fictions. Mr. Lu Xun ever says：’Young Master’ is very fresh、smart. It’s the mainstream of art in Meiji period. The important writer like him and a representative text in Taiwan, just few seen related periodical and papers written by Chinese. Now Taiwan and Japan are friendly, Chinese researcher who Not familiar with Japanese, should be care Natsume Soseki and ’Young Master’ more. Based on this,this article is divided importent part , into five sections of Natsume Soseki and his ‘Young Master’ book. 1. Preface。2. Natsume Soseki's life and 'Young Master' writing background. 3. The artistic features of ’Young Master’ . 4.the influence of "Young Master" on Japan and Taiwan.5.The conclusion. The main focus is on the third quarter. This section is divided into: 1. Text structure and content summary. Second, the description of the character and the overall creative style; this section explores the character of the main and supporting roles, and the overall creative style, which is the most important part of this thesis. The book’Young Master’is revisited the charm of Natsume Soseki. It’s must be in-depth explanation of popular literature in Meiji period in Japan.
