本研究為台東樂山首次較為完整地進行秋季遷移性猛禽調查， 調查時間為2012/9/1~10/14，共44 日。結果共記錄2 科10 種，61,415 隻遷移性猛禽。其中赤腹鷹（Accipiter soloensis）共記錄57,237 隻，灰面鵟鷹（Butastur indicus）共記錄4,056 隻，為最主要的2 種，其他種類的數量皆少於100 隻。赤腹鷹過境高峰期為9 月中旬，過境時平均鷹群大小為41.7 隻，過境時段的高峰時段為11~14 時。灰面鵟鷹過境高峰期為10 月9 日，過境時平均群大小為30.5 隻，過境時段的高峰為12~13 時。建議未來能在台東樂山持續進行秋季過境猛禽調查，也希望能開發新的過境猛禽調查點，並將調查所得的資料以教育宣導的方式，將過境猛禽生態的相關觀念，針對機關、學校進行教育宣導，讓民眾在猛禽生態的保育問題上有所認知，也能藉由過境猛禽的生態之美吸引縣內外民眾進行觀光旅遊活動。

This study is the first complete autumn raptor migration survey in Yaoshan, Taitung County. The survey lasted 44 days long, from September 1 to October 14, 2012. In total, 61,415 migrating raptors of 10 species were counted. The most abundance species were Chinese Goshawk (Accipiter soloensis) and Grey-faced Buzzard (Butastur indicus) , with total numbers of 57,237 and 4,056 respectively. Total numbers of all other species were less than 100. The Chinese Goshawks reached their peak daily number in mid-September. Average migrating group size was 41.7 individuals. They appeared to gather in large numbers around 11:00~14:00. On the other hand, peak daily number for Grey-faced Buzzard occurred on October 9. The average migrating group size was 30.5 individuals, and large numbers appeared around 12:00~13:00. Yaoshan is an ideal site for the observation of fall migratory raptors, especially for Chinese Goshawks and Grey-faced Buzzards. We, therefore, suggest having a long-term migration counts and monitoring survey at Yaoshan. More people and resource are needed to work with and to support the activity.
