第八屆亞洲猛禽研討會於2014 年2 月6 日至9 日在印度浦那（Pune）舉辦，大會主題為「猛禽保育與文化」。本次共有86 篇口頭報告以及8 篇海報發表，內容包括各國猛禽保育現況與文化、繁殖、遷徙、分子生物、聲學等面向。而台灣共有6 人參與本次會議，並發表5 篇口頭報告。本文整理參加本次會議經過，並分享筆者之所見所聞。

The 8th International Conference on Asian Raptors was held in Pune, India, from 6 to 9 February 2014. The theme of the conference is” Raptor Conservation and Culture”. There were 86 oral presentations and 8 posters in topics including raptor conservation and culture, reproduction, migration, molecular biology and acoustics. Six participants from Taiwan attended and presented 5 oral presentations. Here is a brief report of what the event was about the conference.
