中文摘要

微鈣化是一常見的乳房X光攝影檢查結果,約佔所有觸摸不到的乳房病灶之活體組織切片(biopsy)檢查的50%。真空輔助活體組織切片(vacuum-assisted biopsy, VAB)傳統上是以垂直入針(vertical approach),可用於評估觸摸不到的乳房病變,已被確立為診斷觸摸不到和乳房X光攝影檢查檢測的微转化病變之可靠方法,有文獻也提出以側向入針(lateral approach)進行VAB。尤其是針對乳房小或薄的亞洲婦女,使用側向入針進行VAB會提高其之成功率,可免除切片手術。

英文摘要

Microcalcification is a frequent mammographic finding that accounts for approximately 50% of all biopsies of non-palpable lesions. Traditionally, vacuum-assisted biopsy (VAB) is used a vertical approach for the evaluation of non-palpable breast lesions,and has been established as a reliable method for diagnosis of nonpalpable and mammographically detected lesions with microcalcification. There are few reports regarding the lateral approach. Especially in Asian women with small or thin breasts, the use of a lateral approach for VAB will to successful breast biopsy rate and eliminate surgery biopsy.
