以往大型雕塑建構前，會先使用樣品模型進行測試，但結果未必符合實際環境，所以本研究搭配現今AR數位建模技術取代傳統樣品測試方案，模擬出雕塑在環境中的外觀與實際建構的可行性，並加入文化情感造型關聯系統，輔助當地雕塑造形的建構，實驗中搭配AR攝像鏡頭，將數位模型與環境背景空間模組進行融合，觀察受測者對沿海地區的情感與造型元素的聯想，設計背景與非設計背景的受測者對金山沿海地區的情感相似而在造型元素聯想上有些微差異，最後採用獨特的、幾何的、流線的情感要素作為金山沿海地區的雕塑設計要素，而對應的造形元素為曲線面、碎形、不規則進行雕塑規劃，並運用AR技術於造形設計中，輔助地標雕塑造型的建構。
