The poems by the Chinese Diasporic poets does not only concern on the external issues such as physical movements, politics and positions. Instead, the impact, determination and controversies of thoughts are essential too. Through the freedom of thoughts, they will break through the external framework of esthetics, move deep into the inner voices of freedom, brings the Self nearer to the writing. This method of de-constructing history, allows the purest display of poetry, and not only through social criticisms. However, after a long period of writing in a pressurized environment, the sudden departure may lead to a phenomenon of lost words by the poet. The article will compare Xue Di’s (1957-, 雪迪) work creation during homeland and after leaving China. Analysis will also focus on the extreme personalization and loneliness after he goes abroad, and how Xue Di through poetry experiences his existence.
