2019年台灣LED元件產業（LED磊晶片及晶粒、LED封裝及模組）產值已出現連續兩年大幅衰退，且主要廠商稅後淨利仍持續惡化，顯示整體LED元件產業經營壓力仍重。現階段產業普遍將產品線調整至四元、車用、不可見光、Mini LED，以及開發VCSEL、GaN HEMT元件等非LED產品，仍無法有效填補整體失去的產值空缺及挹注獲利。

In 2019, the production value of Taiwan's LED industry (LED chip, die, LED packaging and module) has experienced a significant decline for two consecutive years, and the net profit after tax of major manufacturers continues to decrease, indicating that the overall LED component industry is still under heavy operating pressure. At this stage, the industry generally adjusts the product line to quaternary, automotive, invisible light, Mini LED, and the development of non-LED products such as VCSEL, GaN HEMT components, etc., and still cannot effectively compensate the overall lost production values and profits.
