過去Bourdieu的再製理論研究教育部分主要在於高等教育,在國內依此理論延伸的教育研究數量很多,但研究國中階段偏低,大部分以大人觀點看待國中生在課業成就、學習動機以及學校適應,甚少討論國中生如何在教育場域中考量自己的升學及未來,因此本研究將嘗試用民族誌方法,從偏鄉國中生的視野回觀教育體制以及衍生的社會議題。研究場域位於花蓮縣,一個利用週末為社區與孩子設立的二手公益商店,成員包括小學生、國中生、高中生及社區族人,研究參與者包括九年級九位、八年級三位。本文研究目的在於了解國中生的家庭資本條件與升學考量因素的關係,以及學習成就與自我期許對升學考量因素的關係,透過民族誌、探討焦點團體及深度訪談等方法,探討下列兩個問題:其一,對於家庭資源條件是如何影響國中生在升學時的選擇考量?其二,想要探究學習成就如何影響國中生在升學時的考量?而研究結果發現:一、學生挑選學校以未來可以快速就業為考量二、學生明白選校考量應列入家庭資源不足的劣勢三、師生期待值與學習成就高低會影響選讀學校類型本研究試圖透過學生自己的觀點,站在學生的視角看待自己的未來,而此對教育者、家長或研究者等大人而言,是一個不同觀看孩子內心世界的機會。

英文摘要

In the past, Bourdieu's theory of reproduction research mainly focused on higher education. In Taiwan, there were many studies on higher education based on this theory, but the research in junior high school stage was few. Most of the researchers only payed attention to the achievements of junior high school students in terms of academic achievement, learning motivation and school adaptation from the perspective of adults. It was rare to discuss how junior high students consider their progress and future in the field of education. Therefore, this study would try to use the ethnographic method to look back at the education system and derived social issues from the perspective of the junior high school students in the rural area of Hualien. The research area was located in Hualien County, a second-hand public welfare store set up for the community and children on weekends. The members included elementary school students, junior high school students, high school’s students and community members. The research participants were students in ninth grade and eighth grade. The purpose of this paper is to understand the relationship between the family capital conditions of the students and the factors of the entrance progression, as well as the relationship between the learning achievement and the self-expectation on the factors of studying. Through the methods of ethnography、focus groups discussion and in-depth interviews, the following two questions were discussed: First, how did the family resource condition affect the choice of junior high students in their studies? Second, to explore how learning achievement affected the consideration of junior high students in their studies? The research found that: First, students chose schools to consider the rapid employment in the future. Second, students understood that school selection should be included in the disadvantages of insufficient family resources. Third, the expected value of teachers and students and the level of learning achievement would affect the type of school selected. This study attempted to look at the future of the student from the perspective of the student's own point of view, which was an opportunity for educators, parents or researchers to look at the child's inner world.
