研究者已於先前建置了一套微積分行動助教系統[7]、[8]。研究者進一步針對上述微積分行動助教系統進行使用成效測試,研究以國內某所綜合大學為實驗教學對象,該校每學期進行四次全校微積分統一考試,實驗班級選擇電資學院的電機工程學系甲、乙兩班為施測對象,甲班38人為實驗組,乙班43人為對照組,實驗組除採一般傳統課室教學外並輔以微積分行動助教系統,對照組只採傳統課室教學。研究顯示四次統一考試中,實驗組每次考試平均成績均高於對照組,但只有第一次會考中實驗組與對照組平均成績達統計上顯著差異。實驗組考前有使用微積分行動助教系統進行詢問問題的學生與沒有詢問問題的學生之間的成績差異方面,在第一次會考、第三次會考與第四次均有達統計上的顯著差異,第二次會考因詢問人數太少無法進行統計分析。實驗組針對微積分行動助教系統滿意程度調查接近滿意程度,但仍有改進的空間。研究顯示微積分行動助教系統對於輔助微積分教學上是有一定成效,若再能針對系統進行修改,日後可成為微積分課程課後輔助教學的參考平台。

英文摘要

The previous study developed a mobile learning system for smartphones and mobile devices to enhance calculus learning [7],[8]. In this study, we focus the analysis of effect for using mobile Calculus teaching assistant system. This study selects two classes of the department Electrical Engineering of the university at Taiwan. Each semester, the university holds four Calculus exams with the same time and exam questions. One of the two classes for experimental group with 38 students, the other class for control group with 43 students. The experimental groups use the traditional class learning and mobile Calculus teaching assistant system. The control group only uses the traditional class learning. The results show that experimental group get higher average grades than control group at the four exams, but only at the first exam has statistical difference. In the experimental group, students use mobile Calculus teaching assistant app to ask questions before the exams compare with not use mobile Calculus teaching assistant to ask questions have statistical differences at the first, third, forth exams. There are few students use mobile Calculus teaching assistant to ask questions before the second exam. The second exam can’t use the statistics analysis. For the satisfaction questionnaire for using mobile Calculus teaching assistant system, the results show that the experimental group students satisfy the mobile Calculus teaching assistant system, but it needs more improvement. From this study, mobile Calculus teaching assistant system has effective improvement learning Calculus. We will follow the suggestions of experimental group to improve the function of system. Hopefully, this system will become a reference for the Calculus assistant learning.
