聚對苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(Polyethylene terephthalate, PET)為著名的一次性塑料之一,其廢棄物已在環境中堆積造成全球性汙染問題。運用循環經濟的概念,以可被回收且再利用的方式開發可持續性的PET塑料,係涉及一種化學再循環方法。本文除了介紹PET主要的三種化學回收傳統技術(水解法、醇解法及胺解法)外,為了掌握最新PET化學回收的產業技術現況與發展,亦就近期數家廠商開發出具競爭力的PET新型化學回收技術,分享其化學解聚製程的技術特徵及應用潛力。

英文摘要

Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is one of the famous disposable plastics, and its waste has accumulated in the environment causing global pollution problems. Using the concept of circular economy, the sustainable PET plastics can be recycled and reused involves a chemical recycling method. The three main traditional PET chemical recycling technologies can be categorized as hydrolysis, glycolysis and aminolysis. In order to grasp the current status and development of the latest PET chemical recycling industry technology, this article also shares the technical characteristics and application potential of its chemical depolymerization process on the competitive PET new chemical recycling technology recently developed by several manufacturers.
