中文摘要

竹桿具有良好的機械及可撓性質,因此廣泛地應用於傳統建築中,然而其縱向劈裂性質對於螺栓或釘接等接合設計及整體竹結構的強度影響甚鉅。本研究以桂竹(Phyllostachys makinoi)做為試驗材料,於未穿透竹稈之接合方式下,透過拉伸、滑移及旋轉試驗對鐵線綁紮之接點進行機械性質測試,並分析該接點之力學行為。結果顯示鐵線接點一旦超過其彈性區域即呈現塑性變形而無法回復原狀,由滑移試驗指出竹節不僅能增加抵抗滑移之能力,且滑移之極限荷載及滑移勁度皆明顯低於拉伸勁度,說明該接點具有方向性。經旋轉試驗結果指出與傳統榫接之旋轉勁度相比可以得知,鐵線接點幾乎無抵抗旋轉之能力,於接合形式之分類上與綁繩固定方式一樣可視為不能移動但可自由轉動之鉸接合(Hinged connection)結構特性。

英文摘要

Bamboo culms have good mechanical and flexible properties, so they are widely used in traditional buildings. However, the longitudinal splitting properties can greatly influence the joint design, such as bolts or nailing, and the strength of bamboo structure. In this study, the combination without cutting through the bamboo culms, makino bamboo (Phyllostachys makinoi) was used as the experimental material for the analysis of mechanical behavior through tension, slip and rotation test of the connection section of the iron wire. The results showed that once the iron wire joint exceeded its elastic area, it exhibited plastic deformation that cannot return to its original state. The slip test indicated that the bamboo node could increase the ability to resist slip. Moreover, the ultimate load and slip stiffness of the slip significantly lower than tensile stiffness indicated the directivity of the joint. Compared with the rotational stiffness of traditional mortise joints, the results of rotation test indicated that the iron wire joint had almost no ability to resist rotation. As for the classification of the joint form, it can be considered as an immovable and rotatable Hinged connection.
