隨著整形美容風潮在台灣愈來愈盛行，大眾對於美容整形的接受度似乎也日漸提升。近年來在台灣整形相關研究之中，許多著重在人們對於整形美容的行為態度或接受程度的探討，較少從整形美容者術後的心理層面作分析。本研究利用問卷調查法，探討台灣女性在美容整形後的滿意度、自我身體意識、自尊對於個人在臉書自我揭露的影響。研究結果發現，術後滿意度會正向影響女性術後的自我身體意識，也正向影響女性在臉書上醫美相關訊息的揭露程度和自我揭露的數量；術後自尊會正向影響女性術後身體意識，也正向影響女性在臉書上自我揭露，包括了揭露數量、內容正向性、深度以及準確度；而術後身體意識則會負向影響女性在臉書上醫美相關訊息的揭露程度和自我揭露的深度。本研究分析結果對於整形者術後的心理狀態有了較為詳細的了解，也對她們的人際互動和自我揭露行為提出合理解釋。

As cosmetic surgery has become more and more popular in Taiwan, people’s acceptance of cosmetic surgery seems to gradually increase as well. Many studies in Taiwan has focused on the attitudinal and behavioral aspects of cosmetic surgery as well as degree of acceptance of such procedure, but relatively few looked at psychological and interpersonal aspects of people who received cosmetic surgery. This study examines the relationships among females’ satisfaction with their appearance after the surgery, their self-perceived body image, self-esteem, and their degree of self-disclosure on Facebook. The results shows that (1) higher degree of satisfaction with the surgery outcome increases one’s self-perceived body image as well as increases the amount of self-disclosure and the disclosure of cosmetic-surgery-related information; (2) females with higher degree of self-esteem have better self-perceived body image and have a greater self-disclosure in the amount, valence, depth, and accuracy; and (3) better self-perceived body image decreases the depth of self-disclosure and the disclosure of cosmetic-surgery-related information on Facebook. Overall, the findings offer a preliminary understanding of the mental status of females who received cosmetic surgery and an explanation of their Facebook self-disclosure condition. Furthermore, this study provides some insights for medical staff and others when they care for those women.
