Fujoshi, the main female fans of BL (Boy's love) culture, intend to remain anonymous to avoid the stigma from the public in the past. However, in recent years, BL works have gradually entered the context of popular culture from the niche field. Fujoshi (female fans) and fudanshi (male fans) seem to be liberated from the original stigma of BL culture. This research, and the survey data it is derived from, show that value perception of BL culture and perception of spillover in BL culture are significantly positive correlated with intention of identity expression and social interaction behavior. Also, identification and social identity indirectly influence the intention of identity expression and social interaction behavior of BL fans. That is, on the specific condition, Fujoshi and Fudanshi are “coming out”.
