2019年全球LED元件產值約達157億美元（內含LED磊晶片、晶粒、封裝、模組總計），相較於2018年產值大幅衰退近14％，距離上次2015年再度出現兩位數衰退。而繼2019年美中貿易戰攪局，2020年又面臨到新型冠狀病毒病（COVID-19)的衝擊，雖疫情有逐漸舒緩，但預計2020年全球LED元件產值仍將衰退9%。

In 2019, the global LED component production value reached approximately US$15.7 billion (including LED chips, dies, packages, and modules), which is a substantial decline of nearly 14% compared to 2018 output value, and double digits since 2015. Following the disruption of the US-China trade war in 2019, it will face the impact of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in 2020. Although the epidemic has gradually eased, it is expected that the global LED component output value will decline by 9% in 2020.
