本文以陳致元的無字繪本《想念》作為考察對象，分析作品之圖像意涵及其對「死亡」的療癒性詮釋。是書描繪女子從台北搭乘火車南返屏東，藉由月台、車廂、夢境、田野、照片、墓碑、紅花、蒲公英等圖像，逐步導出返鄉掃墓、回味童年、思念母親等故事主題，完成一趟療癒死亡傷痛的旅程。在圖像意涵部份，本文主要從色系對比、鏡頭遞嬗、細節埋伏、象徵隱喻以及二元對立敘事等面向，揭示作品從「憂傷」走向「釋懷」的情感轉折。在療癒死亡傷痛部分，本文借用「敘事治療」之理念，點出陳致元創作《想念》與其喪母之痛有莫大關係，作者乃透過「說故事」之方式「再經驗」其悲傷往事，當繪本中的女子與母親溫柔相擁之際，其親情斷裂的缺憾也就獲得重述與撫平，然後可以用正向的心態去看待死亡。

This thesis discussed with Chih-Yuan Chen’s wordless picture book Miss, analyzed its imagery of pattern, and explored its healing View for death. This book drawn a girl take a train from Taipei to Pingtung, had gradually lead out is story theme that recalling her childhood and paying her respects at mother’ gravesite, by means of the patterns of platform, carriage, dream, fields, pitchers, tomb, red flower and dandelions. In the aspect of pattern narrative, this thesis reveal the work’s emotional turn from blue to release, through the hues transforming, the lens changing, the hidden detail, the symbols and metaphors, and the narration of binary opposition. In the aspect of healing the pain of death, this thesis used the concept of “narrative therapy” to point out the thick relevance between the creating of Miss and Chih-Yuan Chen’s grieving for mother’s death. The author had re-experienced his sad bygones by telling story. When the story say the girl embrace with her mother, Chih-Yuan Chen’s regret for mother’s death were re-telling and recovered, and then he can treat the death with a healthy attitude.
