至目前國內、外未有相關文獻顯示白血球計數為0的案例報告。此篇案例在病人入院後白血球數值持續顯示為0，臨床處置施打白血球生長激素並未改善，病患因其它併發症而死亡。此案例最後無法判定是否為藥物導致、或感染控制不如預期導致白血球低下、或病人本身有其他免疫相關疾病導致等，且對白血球生長激素治療無反應。實驗室建立排除干擾標準作業流程，可協助臨床減少不必要檢查，提升醫療品質及病人安全。

Up to now, there is no case report showing that the white blood cell count is 0 in domestic or foreign journals. In this case study, after the patient was admitted to the hospital, the white blood cell test result continued to be 0. No improvement after injection of white blood cell growth hormone, and then, patient died due to other complications. It is impossible to determine whether the patient was due to medication or infection control is not as expected or the patient has other immune- related diseases, and also has no response to white blood cell growth hormone therapy. Laboratories should establish standard operation procedures for eliminating test interference to help physicians reduce unnecessary tests and improve medical quality and patient safety.
