量子電腦是利用疊加(superposition)、糾結(entanglement)、跟干涉(interference)三種奇特的量子效應來做運算。早在1980年代初期物理學家RichardFeynman就推想用量子電腦來模擬複雜的系統或處理大量的資料,在經過30多年跟無數的研發經費後,人們終於見到量子電腦的雛形。
Quantum computers use three peculiar quantum effects such as superposition, entanglement, and interference to perform operations. As early as the early 1980s, physicist Richard Feynman imagined using quantum computers to simulate complex systems or process large amounts of data. After more than 30 years and countless research and development efforts, people finally saw the light of quantum computers.
