臺灣當代古典詩的徵選與評審，不僅涉及文學獎背後的權力結構，更是觀察當代古典文學創作的重要指標。自國民政府遷臺，古典詩壇向來有學院與民間之分野，古典詩獎的評審亦是二種詩學觀對話的平台，然而近十年文學獎的評審聘請，學院則幾近獨佔了文學獎評審的話語權。古典詩評選的會議紀錄，則可視為當代文學批評的體現，而評審們所著重商榷的論點，亦是耙梳臺灣古典詩發展方向的線索。會議記錄中著重古典詩之格律、詩體等問題，普遍存在於臺灣的古典詩徵選，展現了文學獎的演進脈絡。近十年對於聯章的重視，源自評審對於徵選組詩的要求，更可窺見文學獎徵選對於當代古典詩創作的影響。

The selection and assessment of Taiwan’s contemporary classical poetry not only involves the power structure behind the literary awards but becomes an important index to analyze the creation of classical literature in modern times. Classical poetry has been divided into academic and folk school since the Government of the Republic of China relocated to Taiwan. The differences between them also have impact on the composition and style of assessment system of early literary awards. Yet according to the invitation records of judges of literary awards during this decade, judges with academic background nearly dominated the power of discourse. The meeting minutes of assessment of classical poetry could be considered the embodiment of contemporary literary criticism. And the perspective that judges hold dear also helps analyze the development of Taiwan’s classical poetry. The minutes stress the regularity and genre of classical poetry which is quite common in the reviewing process of Taiwan’s classical poetry, in a way highlighting the development of literary awards. And the sequent poems have been valued during this decade since they meet the judges’ selecting standard which shows how assessment system of literary awards has impacted the creation of classical poetry in modern times.
