身體影像流行背後有著深刻的政治經濟文化動因，也讓身體身陷影像的困局。身體影像是思想史、藝術史和傳播的身體轉向的必然結果，受身體經濟的驅動，身陷經濟之網，體現了身體政治的復興和政治邊界的錨定，塑造了多樣的文化景觀，也陷入文化困局，資訊傳播科技傳播和遮蔽了身體認知，帶來了多重的悖論，需要我們回到馬克思，正確引導身體觀念，建立批判的身體影像學。

Behind the popularity of body image, there are profound political, economic and cultural reasons，which capture people in body image. Body image is the inevitable result of body turn of history of thought, art and communication, driven by the body economy, embodies the revival of the body and the anchoring of the political boundary, shapes a variety of cultural landscapes, and brings multiple cultural paradoxes. We should go back to Karl Marx, correctly guide the body concept and establish critical body image studies.
