The South Asian students are often under pressure to assimilate into the mainstream culture in a multicultural city of Hong Kong. In the interests of cultural preservation, their cultural awareness can be promoted through education. This study aimed to raise awareness of the protection of intangible cultural heritages (ICHs) and traditional cultures of South Asia via ICH education. It also presents advice on the ICH education provided for the South Asian students in a multicultural context of Hong Kong.
