本研究的目的是希望對台灣收養文化有更多的認識，了解無收出養經驗的民眾對於收養的認識與態度，尤其是「挑選孩子」，做為日後擴展收養工作視野之基礎。為激發討論，以質化研究焦點團體方式進行蒐集資料，共有七位參與焦點團體。研究發現，參與者在日常生活中都認識收養當事人，而對於收養的理解，受是否有熟識收養當事人所影響。有熟識者能夠關心貼近當事人的內在議題，而無熟識者傾向用直白的語言表達負面的思考。其他的發現有：對於緣分與挑孩子的堅持、傾向站在收養人的觀點思考身世告知、對於非血緣親子關係的維護表示困惑、多數支持封閉式收養、也對於收養與出養充滿的好奇，想多了解。雖然所有的參與者都沒有計畫收養孩子，也不鼓勵身邊的人收養孩子，在看似不友善的氛圍中，卻表現出對於收養媒合機構的肯定，以及收養關係中「愛」與「承諾」的重要性，作為正向思考方向。建議未來可以以更多元的方式蒐集資料，以及對於收養議題更多的倡議，促使一般民眾對於收養的認識，建立更友善的收養環境。

In order to explore the attitudes about adoption of Taiwan, especially “shopping for children”. A focus group was conducted in 2019, data was collected from seven participants without any adoption experience. The findings of this study are: (1) participants were very curious about adoption, and they asked a lot of questions in focus group, (2) they are not confident with the atypical parent-child relationship, (3) in adoption triad, they were more likely stand on adoptive parents’ shoes, (4) most of them supported close adoption, and (5) since they understand the burden of take care of children, they did not encourage their friends to adopt children. However, they all emphasized the importance of adoption agency, and also recognized the critical elements between adoption parent-child relationship, which are love and commitment. In fact, the focus group was a two-way communication, an opportunity for the focus group participants to understand what about adoption, and for an adoption agency to understand the community. Also, the recommendation of future adoption work was discussed in this study.
