本文從情動力生態論述的角度出發，重讀及討論台灣小說家吳明益在2011年出版的《複眼人》，並聚焦於《複眼人》小說中所呈現的環境創傷和生態療癒等相關情感問題。吳明益在《複眼人》小說所描寫人類世下的各種環境創傷，以及面對環境創傷而產生的各種情緒與新的情動力。文章除了分析情動力生態論述對於情緒╱情動之間的轉折與流變，也企圖探討當療癒強調一個接收主體，與情動理論強調前主體、前意識時刻相衝突的問題。文中主張在不同人╱非人身體相遇、碰撞、互動產生的情動轉向，這樣的情感不只是自我主觀情緒經驗，更是強調影響與被影響的情動氣氛以及情感強度和進一步的倫理行動的可能。

This paper takes the affective ecocriticism as a point of departure to explore Mingyi Wu’s The Man with the Compound Eyes in the context of (global) environmental trauma and eco-therapy. Together with Baruch Spinoza’s, Deleuze’s, Sianne Ngai’s and Ben Anderson’s concept of “affect,” the first section rethinks “affective” as both an individual emotion and prepersonal intensity in affective ecocriticism. The second section discusses environmental trauma in the age of Anthropocene shown in the Wu’s fiction in light of Anil Narine’s idea of “eco-trauma.” The third section tackles with the problems and correlations among the notions of “affect”, “eco-therapy” and “eco-healing” with the attention to the characters’ affective/ethical turns. The last section ends with the implications of (the man with) the compound eyes and environmental ethics that such figure entails.
