基隆市八斗子以前是一傳統漁村，當時漁船可捕獲的漁獲有鰛魚、鮑仔、鐃仔、四破、丁香魚、小卷，以及後來的飛魚卵等，皆是沿近海漁業可以捕獲的魚種。因為魚產豐富，漁船常常滿載而歸，惟早期八斗子沒有冷凍保存技術與設備，因此沿岸出現許多魚寮，方便漁船一回港就可以馬上進行加工作業，俾延長漁獲的保存。魚寮是八斗子漁村的特色，興盛時期有一、二十家，但也因漁獲的減少，目前僅剩5家魚寮。即使如此，在當局農漁村再生計畫以至地方創生方興之際，魚寮文化的盤點與應用是很好的研究切入點。本文首先即以田野調查法、口述歷史訪談、文獻分析法，探究魚寮的成立脈絡及其所處理的漁獲是利用火誘網等漁法捕撈，其次說明各種漁獲的加工程序、以及從中爬梳屬於八斗子特有的魚寮文化，最後介紹以魚寮文化內容設計出的文創商品。其實在科際整合下，海洋文化與文創設計兩個不同領域是可以激盪出具有海洋文化底蘊的文創商品，也希冀能為活絡地方產業盡一份心力。

Badouzi, an area located in Keelung City, used to be a traditional fishing village, where the typical fishery catches included round herring, whitebait, Japanese anchovy, white-tipped mackerel scad, silver-stripe round herring, neritic squid, and later flying fish eggs, etc., all of which were inshore fishery species. Thanks to the abundant fishery resources, fishing boats often returned home with full of loads. However, there were no freezing preservation technology and equipments in the early days of Badouzi, so people built many fish huts along the seashore to facilitate the fishing boats to carry out processing operations as soon as they returned to wharf and thus to prolong the preservation of catches. The scene of the fish hut cluster was the feature of Badouzi fishing village. There were ten to twenty fish huts in the prosperous period, but due to the decrease of catches, only five fish remain today. Even so, as local authorities are introducing rural/fishery village regeneration projects and regional revitalization are in the ascendant, the inventory and application of fish hut culture shall be a good starting point for research. This thesis shall firstly explore, by means of field study, oral historical interview and literature analysis, how fish huts were built to process fishery catches, which are caught by torch light net and other fishing methods; secondly, it shall explain the processing procedures of various catches and the unique fish huts culture of Badouzi; finally, it shall introduce the cultural and creative products designed with the content of fish huts culture. Under the interdisciplinary intergration, oceanic culture and cultural and creative industry can cooperate to bring about products designs with creative oceanic elements and hopefully contribute to revitalize local industries.
