探賾理學發展的歷史,有關朱熹與陸九淵學術的異同論辯,始終是研治者無法迴避的議題之一。自鵝湖之會後,朱、陸之學經歷元明以至清初儒者反覆論述折衷、異同的過程裡,門戶派別逐步形成,各種文獻評述、典籍著作,呈現的是各時期儒者受其當下學術氛圍以及自我問學體驗等複雜的意識投入此一場域中的辨析。被譽為「宋明理學殿軍」的清儒王懋竑所纂訂《朱子年譜》,可說是以考辨史料形式參與朱陸異同論爭的重要成果。王氏以撰作年譜的形式企圖建構朱子學行的信史,尤其作為論爭起始點的鵝湖之會,看似史料鋪排的年譜,實則在刪汰、擇取、增補之中,潛藏了朱子形象的預設,以及朱陸異同論爭的學術關懷。本文就王懋竑撰作《朱子年譜》之目的進行分析,指出王氏在闡明正學、盡破窠臼的理想前提下,批判李默在尊陸抑朱、朱陸晚同的視野中「以意刪削」舊年譜所撰《紫陽文公先生年譜》;其次,梳理王氏《年譜》中鵝湖之會的書寫,藉由王懋竑《年譜》所摘錄史料、《象山年譜》、相關文獻等進行對讀,透顯王氏在刪削、增補之間形塑儒門正傳――讀書講學、訓詁文義的朱子圖像;最後,依據前述論析,指出王氏《年譜》所形構的鵝湖之會在清代朱陸異同論爭史中之意義。

英文摘要

In the history of researching the Neo-Confucianism, the argument about the similarities and differences between Zhu Xi’s and Lu Jiuyuan's scholarship is always one of the topics that the researchers cannot avoid. After Goose Lake meeting, the Confucians constantly discussed the theories of and similarity and difference between Zhu and Lu from Yuan, Ming to early Qing dynasty, and thus different schools were successively constructed. Various literatures, analysis and books showed the debates of the Confucians in the academic climate at the time and with their complicated consciousness of personal studying experience. Zhuzi nianpu) by Wang Mao Hong in the Qing is the important result to discuss similarity and difference between Zhu and Lu by exploring historic materials. Wang attempted to construct reliable record of theory of Zhuzi by chronicle. Goose Lake meeting as the start of the debate is seemingly the chronicle materials. In fact, the elimination, selection and complement of Zhuzi nianpu (hereafter Chronicle) implies the setting of the image of Zhuzi and academic concern of debate on similarity and difference between Zhu and Lu. This article analyzes the purpose of writing Zhuzi nianpu. The author argues that in order to clarify his theory, Wang criticized Li Mo’s Chronicle of Ziyang Wengong ziansheng regarding his “intentionally deleting” old chronicle due to the perspective of honoring Lu and thus degrading Zhu. In addition, this article generalizes the writing of Goose Lake meeting in Chronicle and compares historic materials in Chronicle with Xiangshan chronicle and related literatures. It shows how Wang constructed authentic Confucianism in terms of deletion and complements of Chronicle, Zhuzi image, and his lecture and explanations of text meaning. Finally, according to the previous analysis, it argues the significance of Goose Lake meeting depicted in Wang’s Chronicle about the debate on similarity and difference between Zhu and Lu in the Qing dynasty.
