新冠病毒肆虐全世界,已對人類生活各層面,例如政治、經濟、社會、教育等,造成巨大的影響。值此之際,亦更凸顯出教育,特別是教學與學習方面的重要性。如何設計有效的學習經驗,讓學生參與學習過程,尤其是透過線上課程,在任何時間、任何地點、以任何方式來支持學生的學習更為關鍵,其中,探究社群(Community of Inquiry, CoI)模式對於高等教育線上學習經驗的相關研究與實務經驗影響已逾20年,可說是一個成功的模式,故本文首先針對探究社群模式的內涵做一簡介,以說明其三大核心要素的重要概念與意義;其次,彙整相關文獻內容,以整理出探究社群在虛擬社群上可資應用的策略,作為線上課程教學設計之參考;最後進行總結,以提出未來教學或研究的展望。

英文摘要

COVID-19 has impacted nearly every aspects of our life, and made more visible the myriad political, economic, social and educational problems that have persisted all over the world. During this time, it is more important to consider how educators can design good online courses for supporting and engaging students to learn anytime, anyplace, and in anyway. The community of inquiry model has greatly influenced both research and practice in online education for twenty years, and it is also a successful model for higher education. Firstly, the community of inquiry model and its three key elements are introduced in this study. Secondly, this study reviews the literature and summarizes some effective instructional strategies for teachers to design online courses. Finally, some import comments and issues are provided for educators and researchers to help them improve future teaching or research.
