本論文緣於講習中應允同修要將善財童子第五十一參做成2020年華嚴論壇的作品發表。可是當著手整理經文時發覺，應將五十一參本身的三卷經文，與之前五十參的兩卷經文一併疏理，此一立論的題材才算完整。若以五卷經文的量，則本論文應不下二十萬餘言，將成為一部專書而非只是一篇論文，故在前參之經文後段裁取德生、有德二賢勸行善財持戒之文，專為華嚴一佛乘的語言模式與思惟模式，作一演義。此一佛乘的模式為普遍學者所卻步，乃是不解其模式之結構所致，這也就是想要讀懂《華嚴經》，所必備的基本條件，若無此一條件的素養，則對《華嚴經》文就會有「美者美矣」、「不讀華嚴不知佛家富貴」等讚辭，然而實際上，卻是「不知所云」、「深不可測」之嘆！故今將此段經文的結構整理出滄海之一滴，以饗讀者，或可為有心之士登堂入室之階梯！

The thesis is requested by fellows during my lecture to publish an article on the 51st Pilgrimate of Sudhana’s (aka. Shancai Tongzi in Chinese) from the Flower Ornament Scripture, as a work for the 2020 Huayan Forum. However, when I started to organize the contents, I realized that the three rolls in the 51st Pilgrimage should be combined with its preceding two rolls in the 50th Pilgrimage, so that the discussion of the subject matter can be considered complete. However, if all five rolls were covered in the thesis, it would become a book up to 200,000 words instead of a thesis. Therefore, in addition to the 51st Pilgrimage, only the part where the two sages (Desheng and Youde) advised Sudhana to abide by precepts were covered and added as examples to demonstrate the language mode and text structure of the Huayan One-vehicle Buddhism. Lots of seekers and scholars are hesitant to seek the understanding of One-vehicle Buddhism because of its complicated writing style and text structures. However, the understanding of the text structures is a necessary basic condition to understand the Flower Ornament Scripture. Without such skill, one may praise the magnificence of the Scripture, “Splendid”, “Without reading the Scripture, one won’t know the richness of Buddhism”. However, in fact they feel that the Scripture is unintelligible and unfathomable. As a result, this thesis will organize and explain one of the language modes and text structures selected from the Scripture as an introduction for seekers to find the doorway to Huayan World.
