國際體系、國家安全、同盟邏輯與相互依存等國際關係基本變數，塑造了東亞各國區域政策，也影響中美的東亞區域主義政策的選擇。總體而言，東亞地區包容性區域主義與排他性區域主義、競爭性區域主義相互交織重疊。其中，排他性區域主義有著歷史的連續性，但伴隨東亞經濟聯繫的加深，追隨美國的盟友也表現出某種形式的區域現實主義特徵。未來的東亞區域機制的構建，應當基於區域現實主義理念，堅持區域內安全合作與經濟合作並行，反對排他性區域主義的干擾，推動包容性區域主義與競爭性區域主義的廣泛融合。

The regional policies of East Asian countries are shaped by several fundamental factors in international relations, such as the international system, national security, alliance logic and interdependence. These policies affect the choice of East Asian regional policies by China and the US. Overall, in East Asia, inclusive regionalism, exclusive regionalism, and competitive regionalism have been intertwining and overlapping. Hereinto, exclusive regionalism is historically continuous. However, as economic connections deepen in East Asia, allies that follow the US also show certain characteristics of regional realism. In the future, the construction of regional mechanism in East Asia must be based on the concept of regional realism, stick on security cooperation and economic cooperation in parallel, resist interruption of exclusive regionalism, and facilitate wide integration of inclusive regionalism and competitive regionalism.
