本研究旨在探究編撰生命故事對高齡者是否具正向意義。透過高齡生命故事課程,由大學生以敘事為軸,對22位高齡者進行深度訪談,編撰高齡者生命故事,了解高齡者對撰寫生命故事的看法與態度。結果發現,生命故事能協助高齡者重新詮釋生命經歷、療癒傷痛與重溫喜樂、肯定存在意義及正向看待一生,並能透過訪談過程與青年世代互動,增進代間理解、認同及代間智慧傳承。
This study focuses on whether writing life stories has positive significance for seniors. Through the life story writing course, undergraduates use a narrative approach to in-depth interviewing with 22 participants to understand their views and attitudes about their lifetime. The results show that life stories help seniors reinterpret their life experiences, heal pain, and relive joy, affirm value of existence, and change life by thinking positively. Also, the interviews have increased intergenerational understanding and seniors can transmit wisdom to the young people.
