Interpersonal learning is important for socialization in children’s development and establishing a good educational environment would enhance peer interaction in this learning style. To examine interpersonal learning in the art education therapy group of elementary school children, this research invited 8 children with social skill problems. A semi-structured art education therapy group project was designed for better expressing emotion through spontaneous drawing. The group was held once a week, 40 minutes per session, for four weeks. The results showed that children in the art education therapy group present independent thinking ability by talking about their art works, develop communication skill, and improve their social skills through interpersonal learning.
