本研究旨在簡介VOSviewer之發展與使用功能,並分析其使用上之優點與限制及常見應用領域,進一步提供使用上之結論與建議。在研究方法上使用Web of Science電子資料庫搜尋關鍵字“VOSviewer”之結果進行文獻回顧,窺探VOSviewer之優點與限制及常見應用領域。研究結果顯示其優點包含:(一)易於取得、(二)高效便捷的文獻資料處理、(三)豐富完整的分析功能、(四)優良且易於解讀的可視化效果,限制則包含:(一)資料匯入格式受限、(二)缺乏數據預處理功能、(三)資料處理較單一、(四)可視化的呈現較為單調。最常見的應用領域為環境科學生態、計算機科學與商業經濟學。VOSviewer於教育研究上之應用有利於提出未來政策制定的參考、未來的研究問題以及潛在的研究方向。本研究建議使用VOSviewer時,可以選用合適的電子資料庫、搭配不同的可視化文獻計量分析軟體並多方參閱可視化文獻計量分析文獻,可以發揮其最大功效。

英文摘要

The purpose of this study is to introduce the development and use of VOSviewer, analyze its advantages and limitations and common application fields, and provide further conclusions and suggestions for use. A literature review was used on this study. The results of searching the keyword “VOSviewer” in Web of Science were used to explore the advantages, limitations and common application fields of VOSviewer. The research results show that its advantages include: (1) easy access, (2) efficient and convenient literature data processing, (3) rich and complete analysis functions, (4) excellent and easy-to-interpret visualization effects, and limitations include: (1) The data import format is limited, (2) the data preprocessing function is lacking, (3) the data processing is relatively simple, and (4) the visualization presentation is relatively monotonous. The most common fields of application are environmental science ecology, computer science and business economics. The application of VOSviewer in educational research is beneficial to put forward references for future policy making, future research questions and potential research directions.This study suggests that when using VOSviewer, choosing a suitable electronic database, match with different visual bibliometric analysis software, and refer to multiple visual bibliometric analysis literature can maximize its effectiveness.
