領導為組織的重要課題,有效的領導者將是確保組織效能關鍵所在。學校是一個施教的園地,亦是人才培育的搖籃,校長領導關係到學校教育目標的達成,因而校長領導的理念與實踐的探究,長期以來都為教育界和學術界所重視。然而,近年來國內校長議題偏重於行政領導、教學領導、課程領導和學習領導等層面的探討,對於「從心領導」之分析則實有所不足。值此新冠疫情衝擊的時代,社會充滿著不安的氛圍,校長應發揮其領導的影響力,成為學校一股安定的力量,實屬相當重要。是故,校長如何運用同理心領導,發展一所溫馨和諧的高效能學校,更彰顯其領導的價值性。因此,本文首先分析校長同理心領導的重要意涵,接著詮釋其時代價值,最後提出實踐策略,以供校長領導之參考。
Leadership is an important issue for organizations, and effective leaders will be the key to ensuring organizational effectiveness. The school is a teaching field and a cradle for talent cultivation. The principal’s leadership is related to the achievement of the school’s educational goals, and thus the exploration of the concept and practice of the principal’s leadership has long been valued by the educational and academic circles. In recent years, principals’ issues have focused the discussions on administrative leadership, instruction leadership, curriculum leadership, and leadership for learning, but there is a lack of “heart-centered leadership”. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the society is full of uneasy atmosphere. It is very important that the principal should exert the influence of his leadership and become a stable force in the school. Therefore, how the principal uses empathetic leadership to develop a warm, harmoniousand effective school will demonstrate the value of its leadership. This paper first analyzes the implication of empathetic leadership of principals, then interprets its value of the times, and finally provides practical strategies for the reference of principals’ leadership.
