為了解鳳凰自然教育園河津櫻(Cerasus lannesiana 'Kawazu-zakura')及八重櫻(Prunus campanulata 'Polypetalous')之物候變化,本研究挑選休眠期、芽膨大期、露蕾期、始花期、盛花期、落花期、露芽期、展葉期、展葉末期、停梢期、葉片變色、座果期、果實生長、硬核期,果實轉色及果熟期等16項物候,於2019年9月1日至2021年3月31日進行監測觀察。結果顯示前述二種櫻屬植物主要花期皆位於2至3月間,且皆長達約1個月,然八重櫻之花期較河津櫻提早約2-4週。於花期後,河津櫻之果實主要於3-4月份生長與成熟,八重櫻之果實則極為稀少。新葉的抽出主要集中在3-4月,葉片在展葉完成後則於枝條上維持約4個月的停稍期。於7-10月間則為葉片變色與落葉的主要時期。自9-10月份開始,生長芽開始陸續膨大,此時期亦可見極零星的河津櫻花朵開放或新葉抽出之現象持續發生,八重櫻則可能有或無。分析結果顯示河津櫻之盛花日與前60-80日之氣溫總和具極顯著之相關性,於八重櫻則相關性相較為弱。

英文摘要

To understand the phenology of Prunus lannesiana 'Kawazu-zakura' and Prunus campanulata 'Polypetalous' at Fenghuang Nature Education Area, this study performed phenological monitoring by 16 features, including dormancy stage, bud swelling stage, pre-visible bud stage, first-flowering date, falling blossom, first foliation, leaf coloration, fruit growth stage, drupe stage, fruit coloration, and fruit maturity, from September 1, 2019 to March 31, 2021. The results reveal that the flowering length of both species is circa one month and major in February to March. In contrast to P. Iannesiana, the flowering time of P. campanulata 'Polypetalous' is 2-4 weeks earlier. After the flowering time, the fruit of P. Iannesiana grows and matures from March to April but is rare in P. campanulata 'Polypetalous'. The extraction of new leaves of both species is concentrated from March to April and then maintained on the branches for circa four months. The leaves change colors and fall from July to October. The buds of P. lannesiana breaks dormancy and grows from September to October with sporadic blossom and new leaves extraction, but these phenologies may or may not display in P. campanulata 'Polypetalous'. The flowering time of P. lannesiana shows a significant positive correlation to the accumulated temperature 60 to 80 days before flowering, but the correlation is relatively weak for P. campanulata 'Polypetalous'.
