本文以清華簡〈厚父〉作為研究對象，一方面針對疑難字詞進行考釋，以對全篇內容取得大致的理解；另一方面又根據內容思想的總體分析，反過來檢視疑難字詞的深度意涵。亦即採取語言文字考釋與思想義理分析、種種「訓詁明」與「義理明」、局部與整體之間，相互來回對照、雙向論證的方法，以對〈厚父〉文本獲取更加周全深刻的認識。如此全面性的進行解讀，能夠避免流於零散的文字考釋，或是局部的內容解讀等等的不足，當然也更有助於其中深一層次議題的發掘。初步而言，其涉及有關「天－民」、「刑－德」等關係，或是肆祀、飲酒、身心等政治理論的種種議題，有待另闢篇幅，結合現有先秦思想史、經學史的相關內容，進入更加深刻的思考。

This study provides a comprehensive analysis of “Houfu” 厚父 from the Tsinghua (Beijing) Bamboo Slips collection dating to the Warring States period, offering new solutions to several problematic passages and a complete reading of the text. In so doing, it attempts to account for both the philological details and philosophical import of both specific parts and the text in its entirety. This opens the way for a closer examination of numerous topics: the relationships between heaven and the people, virtue and punishment, as well as mind and body; and matters related to political theory and culture, ranging from concerns with excesses in sacrifices as well as the consumption of alcohol. With these solutions and details in mind, it is now possible to situate these discourses within the contexts of the intellectual history of this period.
