本文旨在探究自主學習運用於少年矯正學校課程發展應有之思維與具備之學習條件與環境,並且評估自主學習是否為一個有效之課程設計措施。結論一、教育部頒布108新課綱之設計未能適用於少年矯正教育課程設計,為了能符合108新課綱之要求並考慮其核心素養下,以自主學習發展少年矯正學校之課程設計有其必要。二、自主學習所需要之專業指導及環境設施均需調整並配合方能達成自主學習之目標。三、自主學習依照各學習領域之需要及學生對象差異能做有彈性之調整並促進學生之學習動機。

英文摘要

This study attempts to imply the self-directed learning into juvenile correctional school curriculum and assess the effectiveness and outcomes of such practices. Through literature and daily practices as an action researcher, the paper concludes that, first of all, the 2019 new national curriculum of the Ministry of Education is very likely to apply to juvenile correctional schools. However, the Ministry of Education has requested every school in all forms to meet with the standard of the 2019 new curriculum. To make it possible, the paper argues that using self-directed based learning might be a feasible strategy where students, with guidance from a teacher or qualified staff, decide what content is delivered to the students and how teaching materials are presented, and yet meet up with the national standard. Secondly, to do so, juvenile correctional schools should establish a proper teaching guideline and friendly physical learning environment. Last, schools should assess the individual learning needs of students frequently. It is important by teachers/staff and students as both continue to give and receive guidance towards student’s personally learning process and outcomes in order to motivate students’ self-directed learning skills and practices. Further recommendations are made in the end of the paper.
