近年來，我國女子監獄收容60歲以上收容人之狀況有逐年攀升之情形，代表監獄逐漸面臨高齡化的時代；在監高齡收容人，與一般在安養機構或獨居之老人，會有不同的需求或生活適應方式，本研究即是以女子監獄內65歲以上之高齡收容人為主體，探討其在監社會支持之需求；研究方法係以半結構式之深入訪談5位高雄女子監獄之高齡收容人後，研究發現：多數高齡收容人表示人際適應良好，但也有高齡收容人因個人所涉犯之罪名，而受到其他收容人的排斥；此外，對家人、親友的社會支持感到渴望及牽掛，但多數女監高齡收容人對於在監所獲得的照顧及管理呈現滿意程度。末以，本文亦強調高齡專門監獄之設置為將來矯正機關之核心主軸，並具體建議可折衷參採美國德克薩斯州及華盛頓州模式，改良高齡收容人處遇模式以撫慰及滿足對於社會支持之渴望，並呼籲矯正機關未來應正視監獄長期照護制度之趨勢。

In recent years, the number of people over 60 years old in my country's women's prisons has been increasing year by year. This means that prisons are gradually facing an age of aging. Elderly inmates in prisons have different needs or life adaptation styles from those in nursing institutions or living alone. This study focuses on the elderly inmates over 65 years old in women's prisons, and explores their social support needs in prisons. The research method is a semi-structured interview method, interviewing 5 elderly inmates of Kaohsiung Women's Prison. The research found that: Most elderly inmates say they have a good interpersonal adjustment, but some elderly inmates are rejected by other inmates because of their personal crimes. Besides, they are eager and concerned about the social support of their family members, relatives and friends. Most elderly inmates are satisfied with the care and management they receive in prison. Finally, this article also emphasizes that the establishment of special prisons for the elderly is the core axis of future correctional institutions. This study also suggests that prisons can adopt the Texas and Washington models in a compromise, improve the treatment mode of elderly inmates, soothe and satisfy their desire for social support, and call on correctional institutions to face up to prisons in the future trends in long-term care systems.
