本文全面檢視閩南方言中古止攝字群的韻讀層次，注意其中反映《切韻》時期「支與之脂有別」格局的層次表現。中古止攝開口支之脂微四韻韻母，在現代閩南方言的讀音中已經大多無別（支[i]＝之脂[i]＝微[i]）例「奇~怪,支、棋之、几茶~,脂、祈微」，少數支韻字讀[ia][ua]者與支之脂微讀[i]韻不同，例如「騎寄蟻[ia]、紙徙倚[ua]」，學界共識為反映上古音階段的古歌部層次，非屬《切韻》中古音格局。是故，現代閩南方言一般被認為並沒有保存以《切韻》為代表的中古早期「支與之脂有別」音韻格局，與現代閩東閩北「支與之脂」開口韻有別的現象，在本質上並不相同。然則，我們是否能因此就斷定閩南方言音系當中完全沒有反映《切韻》時期「支與之脂有別」的格局呢？經過本文的分析結果顯示，閩南方言雖然支之脂微四開口韻在形式上已經無別，但合口韻確實仍然存在形式有別、且屬《切韻》格局的「支與之脂有別」音韻層次，且其中微支同讀。由「微支同讀」、「成員均為三等、與一等無涉」等特徵看來，關於閩南方言「支與之脂有別」層次當中微支同讀的歷史來源，本文認為主要承襲自主流漢語的音韻格局，可以說是在兩漢時期「部分微歌部字合流」的基礎上，再接受了魏晉以後「古微歌部三等韻全面獨立分化」的格局所致。

This article examines the phonological strata of the reflexes of the Middle Chinese zhi 支 , zhi 脂 , zhi 之 and wei 微 rhymes in modern Southern Min, with a focus on the distinction between zhi 支 and zhi 脂 /zhi 之 which descended from the Southern Dynasty Jiangdong dialect. Strata analysis reveals that there is a distinction between zhi 支 and zhi 脂 /zhi 之 in the closed-mouth group in modern Southern Min, while no such contrast exists in the open-mouth group. In addition , wei 微 frequently is the partner of zhi 支 which differs from zhi 脂 /zhi 之. The evidence shows that the distinction between zhi 支 and zhi 脂 /zhi 之 descended from the identical finals of the archaic rhyme categories “wei 微 / , go 歌 / , ji 祭and wen 文 /, yuan 元”.
