This research is to investigate the relations between learning satis¬faction and learning efftiveness of performing arts cocourses for junior high school students in Tainan City. With junior high schools’ eight to nine grade students in Tainan city, Taiwan as the study examples, using “Questionnaires on Students’ learning satisfaction and learning effective¬ness in junior high school Performing Arts Courses” for resarch data col¬lection; Recieve 776 effective samples. Descriptive statistics, t-test, single factor analysis of variance, Pear¬son’s performance-related and multiple regression were used for statisti¬cal analysis, and research conclusion as below: 1. The satisfaction of junior high school students in Tainan City with course teaching, interpersonal relations, school administration and learning environment are better. 2. All of learning effectiveness and awareness, skills, and affection of the junior high school students in Tainan City are good. 3. Background variables: There’s significant difference in the learn¬ing satisfaction of students with different genders and scale of schools. There’s no significant difference in the learning satisfaction with the grade of students, and educational level of parents. 4. Background variables: There’s significant difference in the learn¬ing effectiveness of students with different genders and scale of schools. There’s no significant difference in the learning effectiveness with the grade of students and educational level of parents. 5. There is a highly positive correlation between learning satisfaction and learning effectiveness. 6. The learning satisfaction and learning effectiveness of students are predictable. Based on the results of the research, recommendations are made for education administration agencies, schools, and follow-up studies as reference.
