《願祢受讚頌》通諭指出當代環境生態源頭在於關係斷裂,提出以整全生態觀重新建構人與環境關係,回到「以人為本」的永續社會。通諭提出善意對待每個人、簡樸的生活,以及平安喜樂和靜默等三點提醒,作為以人為本的核心精神,對於永續發展推動極具啟發性。為達成社會的永續發展,教育扮演重要的角色。環境教育應促成人類心靈的昇華,終極目的在於尋求重新恢復生態平衡,建立人與內在、他人、自然的和諧。以培育環境公民為教育目標,透過地方和日常生活各面向共同行動與學習。本文並從在臺灣的都市、鄉村、東部偏鄉和青年角度的地方永續行動和永續生活轉型學習的案例,探討教宗所提出的日常生活生態學,落實於臺灣的社會文化脈絡中之可能性。

英文摘要

Pope Francis’ 2015 encyclical “Laudato Si” calls for a rethinking of human-environmental relationships through a holistic ecological perspective that emphasizes the importance of sustainable development. The three core principles of this perspective are treating others with kindness, living a simple life, and finding peace and joy in silence. Education plays a critical role in achieving sustainable development by cultivating environmental citizens and promoting collective action and learning through everyday life and local communities. This paper explores the possibilities of implementing the principles of ecological living in the cultural context of Taiwan through various case studies of sustainable actions and lifestyle transformations in urban, rural, remote, and youth contexts.
